Rene Marie Russo was an American film director, actor and supermodel. Rene Marie Russo is a famous American actress, filmmaker and ex-supermodel. She is known for her elegance beauty. Her longevity in a highly competitive industry shows her skills and talent as a performer. Her career began modeling in the 1970s and soon became one of the most well-known models. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete, taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And after that, she signed with Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out in the Octagon has made her an international brand after she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian and she was born on the 29th June, 1992. Rose took part in various activities as a kid such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships is her debut professional bout. At 18, she had won two by submission. It caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC s strawweight division on December 14, 2014, when she was just 22. Rose has experienced extremes and lows throughout her professional career. But she has always won. In April, 2015 Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout just 3 minutes in Round One - becoming not only champion but receiving the title of Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA because this was the only the first time that woman was a champion in any of the major promotions around the world . Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this one, and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
